History Of Community Service
As a family company, Olsens holds the simple belief that as a member of the society in which it operates, one of its most important duties is to work for the betterment of the community.
From providing sponsorships across a wide range of community groups through the Olsens Foundation, to encouraging the pursuit of training and education, we believe we have a role to play in making a positive difference in all parts of our local communities.
Over the years we have been able to support a wide range of community groups and projects including:
- Sylvanvale Foundation - providing respite for families and carers in the Sutherland Shire caring for children with a disability
- Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Art Centre
- Sutherland Suicide Safety Network
- Bankstown Suicide Prevention Committee
- Young individual sports achievers
- Joshua's Kitchen - providing a weekly meal and fellowship for the lonely, homeless, sick or disadvantaged
- Local churches
